Battlerite Royale: Tips and Tutorials for Getting Started

Our articles on Battlerite Royale Battlerite Royale: Tips and tutorials for getting started Battlerite Royale will be available very soon on Steam and you want to start playing on a good basis? We give you some advice.

Battlerite Royale is a Battle Royale using the mechanics and gameplay of its big brother Battlerite, but accompanied by a map thirty times larger than those usually present on Battlerite. Players are then transported to Talon Island, where 30 players will compete for victory.

Each player will therefore have to travel the map in search of new equipment and new skills, until there is only one player left.

1 - Choose your starting skills wisely

At the beginning of each game you will have to choose two skills from all those your character has (apart from your "LMB" and your "F" which are available on each character). It is therefore important to choose skills that correspond to the style of play you want to adopt in the corresponding game and above all, skills that your character needs quickly. Feel free to take a look at our guides to learn more about the skills we recommend.

For example, with a character like Jamila, your choice should turn to her "RDB" (Right-Click) because this will allow you to destroy equipment orbs (orb which once destroyed releases equipment and the different skills of your character), in order to recover your next skills much more quickly. Also, in the case of Jamila, this skill will allow you to inflict damage on your opponents while maintaining a certain distance. Then, both R and Space seem to be wise choices.

2 - Know not to take part in certain fights

Since Battlerite Royale requires you to research skills and equipment that give you many bonuses, some players will have a statistical advantage over their opponents. Therefore, if your equipment turns out to be bad or less good than that of one of your enemies, do not engage in combat.

To find out if your equipment is superior or inferior to that of your opponents, you will only have to inspect the small number located to the left of each player's life bar. It combines the rarity of each player's equipment and skills.

3 - Use your carrots wisely

In Battlerite Royale, just like in Battlerite, you have a mount that allows you to move around the map faster. In Battlerite Royale, once your mount is mounted, it will move at almost the same speed as your character but pick up speed a few seconds later. However, there is a way to move much faster for a few seconds as soon as you get on the mount. These are carrots. To use them, you just have to press the button again allowing you to mount your mount (Basic W). On the other hand, these carrots turn out to be very important and rather rare. It is therefore very important to save them for important situations, because they will save your life more than once.

4 - Choose your place of appearance carefully

As with all Battle Royales, it is important to choose a good spawn location. During your first games, try as many places as possible, this will allow you to realize which place is the most advantageous for you.

It also depends on your style of play, if you want to play a quieter game, in order to have time to compose your equipment, prefer a place far from the first cities traveled by the Dragon. On the contrary, if you want a rhythmic game, prefer the first places traveled by the Dragon.

5 - Consult your ally when selecting champions

This advice is only valid for your Duo games, but it is important to note that just like in Battlerite, the composition of your team will have an impact on your playing experience on the island. So it would be better to have a ranged champion and a melee champion. Some champions, Pestilus in particular, also allow you to heal your ally, so choosing a healer can be very useful.
