Chapter 13: Goron Island

Go see Linebeck to go back to sea. Then choose to head towards the South-East Sea to set sail for Goron Island (picture1). Along the way, several pirate ships will target you. Do not let them approach you by bombarding them or let them approach you to confront them. Just know that the battle is extremely easy and that Linebeck will reward you with a drop of courage if you win (picture2). Arrived towards the island, a tornado should come to bother you. This then drops you in front of a flying whale and the fight does not take long to start (picture3). Your ship cannot sail during the duel. To defeat your opponent, aim for his six eyes arranged on both sides until all of them are closed. To avoid sinking, also shoot her energy balls that she will send you.

Arrived on Goron Island, go around the surroundings to speak with as many of them as possible. This condition is necessary for the sequel. Consult image 4 to visualize at a glance the location of each Goron on the island (note that some individuals are in the caves). By taking the passage leading to the east, you will notice the presence of a small Goron near a slab. Speak into your microphone so that it is placed on the slab and allows you to continue towards the South area (picture5). While wandering in the North area of โ€‹โ€‹the village, you will encounter a Goron having slight problems with 3 creatures on a hill. Agree to help him and eliminate the octopuses using your arrows from the other upright (picture6). You will climb up there thanks to the flow of air that you release with a shovel. Your good deed will then earn you a new treasure map.

When you have spoken with all the Gorons on the island, your faithful companion will then inform you automatically (picture7). Then go see the Dean by going to the cave shown in picture4. Inside the cave, agree to pass the test given to you by the village chief (picture8). You must then answer a series of 6 questions for which you will find the answers right after. As the questions are asked randomly, you will find the questions associated directly with the answers. Two of them will obviously not be asked of you. Q: The Goron at this place! What is he looking at ?
A: A boat Q: How many houses are there on this island?
A: 6 Q: How many Gorons live on this island?

By linking the correct answers, you will then end up obtaining a drop of wisdom but also the identity of Goron. Pay the tax of 146 rubies (the amount you just won by answering the quiz) and follow Ptigoron outside to get to the Temple. Unfortunately for you, this one tests you and asks you to look for it. Take a look at picture9 to observe its two successive hiding places, then also follow the indications of the Gorons to find it more easily. When you have found Ptigoron twice in a row, follow him through the portal to the east of the island. You will then access a labyrinth where you will have to dig several breaches using your bombs. Start by sending two bombs on the first two breaches, then take care of the following ones (picture10).

Take the left path to start in order to access a slab and thus deactivate a row of spikes (picture11). A large green rupee awaits you in the second branch of the labyrinth (picture12). You should then quickly find yourself blocked. You can actually create a breach at the level of the row of unlined blocks (picture13). Place one of your bombs at this exact location to break through the wall.

You can then escape through the highest corridor, walking west. Do not forget to head down to retrieve the Drop of Courage in the small chest freed previously (picture14), then move towards the temple to confront a strange creature (picture15). Beware of its suction capabilities and rub the touch screen if it manages to capture you. Kill it to get a shield. Continue west. In front of the Temple entrance (picture16). Walk on the slab to collect some hearts from jars below or go directly inside the mine.
