Getting started on FIFA Ultimate Team

Getting started on FIFA Ultimate Team

First, we will explain how to get started in the mode. FIFA Ultimate Team. To do this, you will have to create a team based on solid foundations, understand how the system of players and transfers works, study its workforce in order to choose your formation...

    Choose a suitable training

This is the first thing to do when you start on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. Before embarking on the search for players, you must at all costs settle on a tactic.

With more than twenty training courses, you have the choice. An important thing to know too. While in other FIFA 21 game modes, players adapt quite easily to a different position, this is not the case in this game mode.

Do not try at all costs to integrate your player into a formation that does not suit him. This is a mistake that is often made when you have a rare player but who does not fit into the game plan...

A championship team, a nation or a hybrid?

Once you have your training, this is the question to ask yourself before you start building a team. If we will discuss the collective agreement part a little later, you should know that it is preferable, especially when you start, to move towards a team of players who come from the same championship or the same nationality.

Once you have your team idea in mind and before you start buying players, consider going to the transfer market. Some championships, like the Liga BBVA, are very attractive with players like Lionel Messi or the Frenchman, Raphael Varane. Unfortunately, these players require a lot of credits and it is therefore quite difficult to build a competitive team in this championship. Conversely, some championships, such as Ligue 1, have players who are much more accessible in terms of credits.

If you plan to form a nation, you should know that the collective agreement will not be a problem. As with the championships, some nations, such as France or Argentina, require a colossal investment. Pairing Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero, for example, is far from simple. Finally, hybrids are the most difficult teams to assemble. It usually requires a specific formation, like 3-5-2, and a lot of thinking.

Aim for the perfect collective agreement

The collective agreement is the element that must absolutely be taken into account before you go to the transfer market to buy your players. If you have a bad collective agreement, the players on your team will find it difficult to evolve together. You will therefore find it difficult to attack but also to defend.

To avoid this, we must take into consideration the collective rating that each player. Ranging from 1 to 10, it influences the characteristics of each player. If one of your players has a rating of 1, he will perform less well on the field. Conversely, the player who has 10 in collective will have a small bonus on these characteristics.

To optimize this rating, there are two things to consider when building your team: The placement of your player et the links between your players.

Regarding placement, ideally your player's positioning should be the same as that required by the formation. To know if your player is well placed, just look at the color of the circle symbolizing the position:

    - The Green indicates that your player is in a good position, such as an attacking midfielder (MOC) placed in the playmaking position (MOC). The player's collective will be optimized.

    - The orange indicates that your player is placed in a position relatively close to his original position such as a holding midfielder (CDM) placed at the central midfielder (CM) position. The player's collective will be average.

    - The red indicates that your player is misplaced, such as a right defender (DD) lined up as a right winger (AD). The player's collective will be totally zero.

For links, the agreement is symbolized by red, orange or green lines between the players. To create the agreement between two players, you must:

    • That they belong to the same club,
    • That they play in the same league,
    • That they are of the same nationality.

Green lines indicate that your player shares at least two abilities with the player next to them. Orange lines indicate that your player shares an ability with the player next to them. The red lines therefore logically indicate that your player has no connection with the player closest to him.

In addition to these two elements, there are two bonuses that can further slightly improve your player's chemistry rating. These are the loyalty bonus and the manager bonus. the loyalty bonus is obtained when the player you bought has made 10 matches with your club. It should be noted that the players you find in the packs already have this bonus. For the bonus manager, your coach must share either his nationality or his championship with a player for the bonus to be effective.

    22 players is the best!

You will realize it soon enough, only have one starting eleven on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team is quite disabling. In fact, the more matches you play, the more the players on your team will get tired. It is therefore important to be able to lead a rotation of staff with your players. Otherwise, you are going to have to acquire many shape cards.
