The 2.1 update of Genshin impact marks the arrival of many new features, including new resources. Some can be found in the wild, while others must be obtained as a reward after downing an enemy. A new type of monster is just available in 2.1, the Specters, with new materials to loot from them. Here's where to find them.
Where to find spectral shells?
Specters are small monsters resembling flying Blobs, which are also linked to an element. For the moment, in game, we can find Geo, Hydro and Anemo Specters, which end up exploding once at the end of their life, Bombo style in Final Fantasy.
When they die, they allow you to get your hands on Spectral Shells, Spectral Hearts and Spectral Cores. These materials are required for raising certain characters, such as Aloy, who has been available in-game for PS4 and PS5 owners since 2.1.
Fortunately, these new monsters currently only appear on the two new islands, Seirai Island and Watatsumi Island. Below are the areas where they appear frequently.
