- Normal Attack (Archery Liutian): Chains up to 6 consecutive shots.
- Charged Attack : Performs a more accurate aimed shot and inflicts more damage. During the aimed shot, the power of the cold is concentrated on the tip of the arrow. The effects vary the number of charges:
- 1 charge: Fires an icy arrow that deals Cryo damage
- 2 Charges: Fires an arrow of frost that deals Cryo damage. Frost spreads when it hits an enemy, dealing area of โโeffect Cryo damage
- Diving Attack : Shoots a shower of arrows from the air and dives to the ground, dealing area damage on impact
- Trace de Qilin : Ganyu drops an ice lotus that inflicts Cryo area damage then quickly retreats.
- The lotus taunts enemies and focuses their attacks
- His HP is proportional to Ganyu's Max HP
- The lotus explodes at the end or if it is destroyed in the meantime and inflicts Area Cryo damage

- dew drinker : The Cryo resistance of enemies hit by a frost arrow (charged) or by the resulting frost zone is reduced by 15% for 6 seconds. Ganyu also recovers 2 points of elemental energy when she hits. This last effect can only be triggered once by the frost arrow, even if the frost area and the frost arrow both hit

How to play Ganyu
As the main DPS
Ganyu proves to be a particularly effective fighter. At the time the guide is written, she is also one of the most aggressive characters in the game, with hits that can go far beyond important characters like Diluc and others. We will therefore choose it mainly as a Main DPS, focusing on its damage. Although playable in support, it is as a main DPS that it is most effective.
She has a bow. It is therefore necessary to aim and use its particularity: its charged attack doubles as a double charge. The first is strong but it's on the second charge that all of this materializes since it will send a frost arrow which will then reverberate and do even more damage, this time in the area. She is therefore particularly powerful against bosses by maintaining a distance between her and her attack, but she also stands out in fights with several enemies, especially in the abyss, to do area damage.
His 'E', Trace of Qilin, allows several things: to place a decoy which will attract enemies. Great for charging up his attack while monsters are watching in the distance. But it is also accompanied by a dash which is therefore perfect for extricating yourself from certain bad situations or from an area attack. Finally, his ult once again inflicts area damage in cryo that hits very hard.
Ganyu has some weaknesses though. Since it is necessary to load, it should not be hit during this time. Always optimize your moves, dash and lotus to get away from enemies or use another character that grants a shield. Also, being an archer, it is true that the handling of the bow is not optimal on mobiles.
Proper support
Ganyu can also be played as a support. However, most players go for the main DPS since she is much better in this role. But in a Freeze team for example, she can also be a good support: her flower and her ultimate allow you to freeze enemies in the area quite regularly. It can therefore be very effective alongside Hydro-type characters.
Excellent against Stormterror
Stupid detail but which will please many! You know Stormterror, this boss that is both classy, โโimpressive but just as annoying to fight because of its bugs and other inaccuracies? Ganyu is great at beating him: no need to climb on him, just aim for his crystal. In view of its rather impressive DPS, it is quite possible to become Stormterror without having to pass different sentences. Brilliant !
