You would think that the Musket would only be present in Rockstar Games' other highly rated Red Dead Redemption series, however, in that case you would be wrong as it is also available on GTA Online! Not to mention, it's actually quite high - a powerful weapon well worth owning. So how do you get it?
Upon encountering your nearest Ammu-Nation, you may notice that the Musket is not available on the wall. That's because you can only buy it once a year on the 4th of July as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

If you just missed the chance this time around, you will unfortunately have to wait until the next 4th of July to drag that old gun! However, once purchased, it will remain permanently in your inventory; so no need to worry about it disappearing for 364 days of the year!
If you're a big guns geek in GTA, you'll no doubt be wondering why you'd want a musket when you can have an SMG that takes out those pesky cops so much faster! In this case though, the Musket is actually a powerful weapon that stands out significantly with its stats. So, the next time you get the chance, be sure to grab it!
