Note that you can also find our list of vehicles as well as that of the various gadgets and reinforcements present on Battlefield V.

The main weapons

The main weapons are those reserved for the different classes of BF V. The game will have 30 main weapons when it is launched, all of which can be personalized by the players (sights, stock, skin) according to their desires and styles of play.

Assault Rifles

Assault rifles are the big brothers of submachine guns. More accurate and more powerful from a distance, they are very suitable for combat at medium range.

โ†’ StG 44 โ€“ Many consider it the very first assault rifle. It features a high rate of fire, accuracy, and stopping power.

โ†’ Assault Rifle 1-5 โ€“ This variant of the semi-automatic Gewehr 1-5 rifle has a fire selector.

โ†’ M1907 SF โ€“ A weapon similar to the M1 carbine, but heavier and more powerful.

Semi-automatic rifles

Semi-automatic rifles have a better firing range than assault rifles but are not necessarily suitable for long range shooting.

โ†’ Autoloader 1916 โ€“ An early model of German semi-automatic rifle. Because he was vulnerable to environmental conditions, he was more successful in the Air Force than the Army. Only 1 copies were made.

โ†’ Gewehr 43 โ€œA gun so strong you could use it as a rung.

โ†’ Rifle 1-5 โ€“ A semi-automatic rifle that used the same detachable magazine as the StG 44.

โ†’ M1A1 Carbine โ€“ A semi-automatic shotgun with a very high rate of fire, but reduced power. Best used against targets within 50 yards.

โ†’ Turner SMLE โ€“ Fires faster than the Gewehr 43, but its shots are less powerful over distance.

Once again, DICE bet on realism with these 30 main weapons

Bolt Action Rifles

Bolt-action rifles are the sniper rifles in the game. Their rate of fire is low, but all it takes is a headshot to take down an enemy.

โ†’ Rifle M95/30 โ€“ The origins of this rifle date back to the end of the XNUMXth century. It was widely used by the Austro-Hungarian army during the Great War.

โ†’ Krag-Jรธrgensen โ€“ A rifle whose origins date back to the end of the XNUMXth century. It had a fixed magazine fed from the side and not the top.

โ†’ Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk l โ€“ A sniper rifle with a very high rate of fire. Its bullet speed is lower than the Kar98, so it is best used at medium range.

โ†’ Kar98 โ€“ The most common bolt-action rifle in the German army.

Self-Loading Rifles

Self-loading rifles are used in the same way. Their rate of fire and ammo capacity are lower, but their firepower is much higher.

โ†’ 8 โ€“ A weapon created in 1900. It was used by American hunters and some police units, but the American army never officially adopted it.

โ†’ ZH-29 โ€“ A very powerful self-loading rifle capable of eliminating the target in just two shots.

โ†’ CSR - By modifying parts of the Lebel rifle, the French designed the RSC, which was to replace it. It was cheaper to produce, but soldiers blamed it for being bulky in the trenches.

Submachine Guns

Machine pistols are particularly effective at close range, although they don't rival the power of shotguns.

โ†’ Stone โ€“ The more maneuverable twin of the MP40.

โ†’ Finland KP / -31 โ€“ A machine pistol with a high rate of fire, but difficult to control. Although it is a little weak at the start, it benefits from the progression much more than the other MPs.

โ†’ EMP โ€“ Developed in Germany, this PM was extremely popular in Europe and Asia.

โ†’ MP40 โ€“ The Allies nicknamed this weapon โ€œSchmeisserโ€ but the famous eponymous arms manufacturer was never involved in its design.

โ†’ MP28 โ€“ After the Great War, Hugo Schmeisser made many improvements to the MP18, such as replacing the drum magazine with a straight magazine. The MP28, which resulted from these changes, was sold to China and Japan, among others.

โ†’ MP34 โ€“ The design of the MP34 was taken from the old MP18 submachine gun. This very well designed weapon with particularly high production costs was mainly used by the German army.

โ†’ M1928A1 โ€“ The โ€œTommy Gunโ€ became famous in the 1920s thanks to Chicago gangsters. Featuring high accuracy and a high rate of fire, it was adopted by the US Army in 1938. Likewise, Allied commandos and rangers used it in large numbers.

Machine guns

Machine guns are designed for long bursts. They are harder to wield than Assault Rifles, but they can shoot a bit further thanks to their bipod.

โ†’ KE7 โ€“ Submachine gun with medium fire rate. Although this machine gun was designed in Switzerland, the Swiss army never used it.

โ†’ Bren โ€“ Designed after a Czechoslovak weapon, its top-mounted magazine gave it a special appearance.

โ†’ FG-42 โ€“ Automatic rifle with a very high rate of fire, but with a small magazine. This is the Support weapon with the highest damage rate.

โ†’ Lewis โ€“ This weapon entered service with the Allied forces in 1914. During the Second World War, the British used it again as an anti-aircraft weapon. With its barrel muff and top-mounted drum magazine, it was easily recognizable.

The machine guns

Machine guns are highly specialized weapons capable of firing long, even more devastating bursts. They are very unwieldy, so consider using a bipod.

โ†’ MG 34 โ€“ An innovative, portable, air-cooled machine gun with a high rate of fire. It was too complex to be mass produced and will be replaced by the MG42.

โ†’ MG 42 โ€“ This machine gun was reliable, easy to use and had a phenomenal rate of fire. After its introduction in 1942, it served on all fronts.

Shotguns

Shotguns are extremely effective at close range, so shotguns can sometimes eliminate in one shot.

โ†’ M30 Drilling - A triple-barreled weapon that grants unsuspected versatility. Use its double shotgun barrel at close range and switch fire modes to use the shotgun barrel at medium range.

โ†’ 12g Automatic - This weapon was used during the two world wars. It was the first working semi-automatic shotgun used by the Allies. The German army eventually took inspiration from it to create its own version.
