In Animal Crossing New Horizons, the path to terraforming is very long. Corn mostly full of spoilers, so if you don't want to spoil yourself with any nice surprises, you can turn around right now. How to unlock terraforming?

To start, be aware that you will not have access to the feature right away and you will not be able to unlock terraforming at the start of the adventure. You will needat least two weeks to get the app Island Remod of NookPhone.

Indeed, you will have to develop your island to reach the moment when Marie begins to tell you the reputation of your island. Then, you will have to reach the three-star rating by selling land and decorating the landscape. Once the three stars have been reached, Marie will read the commentary of a mysterious musician. Tom Nook will finally call Keke to bring him the next day.

The concert time has finally arrived, you watch the end credits of the game. Once it is over, Tom Nook is waiting for you in front of your house to add the Remod'île application to your NookPhone. Attention, in the state it only allows to draw dirt roads.

For the real terraforming, you will have to collect the Nook miles and go to the Nook Stop to redeem them. Permits to redesign waterways and cliffs each cost 6 Nook Miles. For another path material, it will take 000 miles and even 2 to be able to use the custom patterns.

How to use the Remod'île?

To use Remod'île, you must of course take out the NookPhone and launch the application. When the mode is activated, you must use the + button to change tools. Finally, be aware that you cannot modify the beaches and their rocky parts. There you go, you just have to follow what is explained, and thus shape your island in your image.
